Privacy Policy
Effective September 5, 2026
1. General
This policy applies to BUENA TOV (the "studio", "we") in relation to visitors of buenatov.site and anyone who contacts us through the contact form, by phone, or by email. It explains what data we receive, why we process it, and what rights our visitors and clients have over their own data.
By using this site or sending us a project brief, you agree to the terms described below.
2. Data we collect
We only collect what's genuinely needed to get in touch and scope a project:
- Contact form data: name, company name, phone number, email (if provided), and the contents of your brief.
- Technical site data: device and browser type, approximate location from IP address, and pages viewed — collected automatically for basic traffic analytics and abuse prevention.
- Voluntarily shared data: anything you tell us by phone or email while discussing a project.
We do not collect payment details through the site, and we never ask for passwords or identity documents in the contact form.
3. Why we process it
- To respond to your enquiry and put together a proposal.
- To keep the site running and understand which sections are useful to visitors.
- To meet our obligations under any contract we've entered into with you (for example, invoicing).
- To comply with applicable law where relevant.
We don't sell visitor data, and we don't use it to serve third-party advertising.
4. Legal basis
Depending on the situation, we process data on the basis of: your consent (submitting the form counts as consent), the necessity of performing a contract between us, or our legitimate interest in keeping the site useful and secure. Visitors in the European Union are additionally covered by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR); enquiries from Ukraine are covered by the Law of Ukraine "On Personal Data Protection".
5. Data retention
Contact form data and correspondence are kept for as long as a project is being discussed or delivered, and for a reasonable period afterwards — so we can answer follow-up questions or meet legal obligations. Analytics data is kept in aggregate form and isn't used to identify individual visitors.
6. Sharing with third parties
We don't pass personal data to third parties for their own marketing purposes. Data may be processed by technical providers strictly to the extent needed to run the site, including:
- hosting and DDoS protection (e.g. Cloudflare);
- the service used to receive and forward the contact form;
- basic web analytics tools.
Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy and its agreement with us.
7. Cookies
The site may use essential cookies needed for it to function correctly, along with anonymised analytics cookies that help us understand which pages get the most visits. You can disable cookies in your browser settings — some parts of the site may work less well as a result.
8. Your rights
Regarding your personal data, you have the right to:
- find out whether we hold data about you, and get a copy of it;
- ask us to correct inaccurate data;
- ask us to delete data once there's no longer a reason to keep it;
- withdraw any consent you previously gave, at any time;
- object to processing that relies on our legitimate interest.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in section 12 — we'll respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data against loss, unauthorised access or disclosure, including encrypted traffic (HTTPS) and restricted internal access to contact submissions. No method of transmitting data over the internet is completely secure, so we can't guarantee 100% protection.
10. Children
This site is intended for business use and isn't directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under the age of 16.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our processes or the law change. The date at the top of the page reflects the latest update. We'll flag any material change separately on this page.
12. Contact
